North Fork South Platte River Foundation Spring 2010 Cleanup Day

 

The North Fork South Platte River Foundation has completed its spring cleanup day!!  The successful day involved board members and volunteers cleaning up trash in the North Fork of the South Platte River channel through Bailey.  The channel and a mile of river bank is now clean of trash, and over 200 lbs was hauled off to the dump.  Thank you to all of those who contributed!

Public Water Clean Up Day

The North Fork of the South Platte River Foundation is kicking off the 2010

season with a North Fork- Public Water Clean Up Day! Several miles of the

North Fork of the South Platte River and its banks will be green and litter

free after the Foundation’s Volunteers are done. Please come join us, and

help a critical water resource to the Colorado Front Range and Denver Area.

We are planning on finishing up by 1 PM, and lunch is provided!


The Foundation is focused on improving and maintaining Public Lands, Water

Quality, Fisheries, Flows, and Wildlife within the North Fork Drainage. The

North Fork benefits many throughout its length, including thousands of

Colorado residents who depend on it to as a valuable water resource. Please
